Steve Zeinner’s Bio

Dr. Stephen R. Zeinner is the founder and director of Bearing Precious Seed Global, a ministry that seeks to place the Holy Scriptures into the hands of those in need all over the world.  As a 26 year veteran missionary to the people of Mexico, Dr. Zeinner experienced first hand the life-changing impact of the Word of God and the great need for Scriptures to be printed in the people’s own language.  The Lord then used Steve to oversee the printing and sending of millions of Scriptures while functioning as General Director of Bearing Precious Seed (BPS) in Milford, Ohio and El Paso, Texas for nine years.  Dr. Zeinner’s ministry experience provides him with the passion and the strong leadership abilities needed to equip and lead Bearing Precious Seed Global to the front lines of world evangelism.
Dr. Zeinner graduated in 1971 from Midwestern Baptist College with a Bachelor of Religious Education and in 1986 was awarded an honorary Doctorate degree from Northeast Baptist Bible College for his accomplishments on the mission field.  During his ministry as General Director of BPS Milford and El Paso, Steve played a key role in advancing God’s work of printing His Word for the world.  Bearing Precious Seed of Mexico, located in San Luis Potosi, was founded by Dr. Zeinner and is now a self-supporting Bible printing ministry that is sending the Word throughout Mexico.  Under the direction of Dr. Zeinner, BPS Milford established 27 distribution centers around the world, went from 3 million scripture printed to over 8 million annually, developed criteria for translation work, and verified the authenticity of origin and quality of translations in other languages.  Steve also personally met with translators to find new languages that have never been published or revisions of those already published so needy people groups could read God’s Word in their own language for the very first time.
His passion now and until the Lord returns is to bring Bible printing to the front line which will advance our efforts to get His Word more effectively and speedily to the ends of the earth.  He believes God has given him a plan to accomplish this mission.  When the Lord called Steve into the Bible printing and distribution ministry, He was cultivating a passion in him to meet the Scripture need not only of Mexico but of those around the globe.  Dr. Zeinner believes that to effectively accomplish this goal, we must print in other countries where it is much more economical and where transportation of Scripture is facilitated by favorable trade relationships, such as Egypt to Iraq and Iran.  This does not mean that his goal is to raise funds to buy equipment and set up presses in every country.  Steve believes God has led him to guide Bearing Precious Seed Global with a renewed vision and approach.  He will be working very closely with nationals and missionaries to meet the Scripture need that they have in their own countries.   His vision is the whole world, “Go ye into all the world”.
